Safe to use Bravecto on dog after recent Advantage Multi application?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | spayed | 1 year and 8 months old | 12.5 lbs

Our vet wants us to start using Bravecto/Sentinel together. Will start next month with Sentinel, but supposed to start Bravecto today. I just applied Advantage Multi on dog on Monday. Is it safe to start the Bravecto today after having applied Advantage Multi on Monday?

Hello. For the most part, this should be safe. I have seen cautions about waiting 24 hours to 1 week, but the longer wait may be to separate possible individual side effects, such as vomiting. I think, just to be absolutely sure, waiting another day or so before using the Bravecto would be prudent. Just be sure to be home to with Cagney for a few hours after using the Bravecto to make sure he does fine. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
