What's this growing, changing sore on my 1-year-old Staffy's neck?

Pet's info: Dog | American Staffordshire Terrier | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 3 months old | 54 lbs

My female u 1 year old American Staffordshire Blue Nosed Pit has a sore on her neck that continues to grow & change & I'm unsure of what it may be. Your professional opinion & any insight, as well as any suggestions you may have, would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Chevvy. I recommend that she sees a veterinarian if the mass is growing and changing. A disinfectant solution will likely be used to clean the scab off and see what is underneath. If it is a wound, then antibiotics may be needed. If there is a growth, her veterinarian will likely sample cells to evaluate under the microscope. I hope this information helps!
