My female dog acts pregnant, carries toys. Is it a phantom pregnancy?

My female yorkie walks around with toys in her mouth crying. She thinks shes pregnant n shes not. She keeps trying to hind her toys under the bed. And right now shes sleeping in a box with all her toys. Does she think shes pregnant ? Are her hormones out of balance? What can i do for her without spending money? Pet's info: Dog | Yorkshire Terrier | Female | unspayed | 2 years and 2 months old | 4 lbs

Hi, yes she is probably suffering with phantom pregnancy. Things should settle, however if she is also producing milk she might need to see a vet to get a medication to stop milk production. Hope this helps.
