My baby had gotten into a fight with another dog here recently. Im sure he had swallowed a lot of blood. Im concerned that maybe there might be some internal damage, i revently noticed that his stool looks black and tarry. I intend on taking him to the vet, but payday is next week and i feel i need an answer asap. Could he have internal bleeding somewhere?

Yes, black tarry stools are a red flag for internal bleeding, either from upper gi tract or swallowed from.upper respiratory or dental trauma. A full vet check is recommended, this would be urgent if any weakness, breathing difficulty or vomiting is observed
