My playful dog is withdrawn, not eating, sleeping more. Is he sick?

My little guy is usually playful and into everything. But today he seems a little withdrawn and not lethargic, but slower. If that makes any sense. He hasnt eaten much food at all today but he has been drinking. He would just rather lay beside me and just sleep instead of playing like he usually does. Shoukd i worry about this? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | unneutered | 8 lbs

He may be going through a bit of stomach upset. I would see how he does by tomorrow to see if this passes, since he isn't vomiting or having any loose stool. As long as his gums are still nice and pink it is ok to wait things out. If he still isn't eating or seem worse after 24 hrs, then its best to have him seen by your vet to ensure he doesn't have any internal organ issues.
