Pet's info: Dog | American Pit Bull Terrier | Female | spayed | 11 years and 1 month old | 44 lbs
My vet told us that just by looking at my dog she probably has a brain tumour. He advised we put her down. But she has improved abit since then, can we delay euthanasia? He gave us Prednisolone to give her every morning, should i still go with vets advice? We can not afford an MRI scan. I should add that Sky has also been suffering from arthritis from an early age, which has worsened we stopped her arthritis pain medicine so she can be on prednisolone. What should we do? could we treat both?

Prednisone is very effective in managing arthritis, especially in a palliative care setting and you are happy she is comfortable and has a good quality of life then yes, continuing to monitor her at home for any progression should be your decision
