My young German Shepherd struggles to jump. Is it hip dysplasia?

My G. Shepherd can run as fast as Greyhound. She's barely 2 but she used to jump in bed. Now she climbs (like struggling) to get up. Is she just lazy to jump or do you think it coud be hip displacia? Like I said Ive been around greyhounds. She is that fast. Not sure if relevant but I would think so. Started giving her joint treats hopefully that will help? By the way its pretty knew. Used to jump fences. Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Female | unspayed | 90 lbs

Hi there. If Lilly used to jump onto the bed easily and now seems to be struggling more, this is definitely concerning for a medical problem of some kind. She may have hip dysplasia, a problem with her knees or back. or some other type of joint problem. I would recommend taking her to the vet for an exam when you are able to. He/she can do a complete orthopedic exam to see if she is painful anywhere and check her range of motion, and may also recommend x-rays or other testing if needed to help determine what's wrong.
