My dog won't jump, has a stiff stomach. Is it serious or gas?

My dog didnt want to jump up on the coach and he always does. I picked him up and felt him to see what was wrong and his stomach was stiff. He is breathing normally and he is acting normal other wise I checked his vidials and they were normal. He ate eggs today. he is not throwing up at all or acting like he has to. Do you think it's gas or something more serious? Im really worried about him. Pet's info: Dog | Dachshund | Male | neutered | 6 years and 10 months old | 16 lbs

Oscar could have problem with his back preventing him from jumping onto the couch. Back problems are very common in Dachshunds due to their elongated spine. I'd have him checked out by a vet today. Best of luck.
