Could a coyote or other wild animal get my Dog? What are the chances? Should I get him a protective spike vest? Pet's info: Dog | Dachshund | Male | neutered | 6 years and 10 months old | 16 lbs

If you live in an area where coyotes are a problem, then yes there is a chance one could grab Oscar. Do not allow him outside alone, especially at night, and never let him off a leash for walks. It's not common, but my parents live in Nevada, and this has happened to someone in their neighborhood.
