Can my 1.5-year-old cat eat kitten food if the bag says up to 1 year?

Is it ok to feed a year and half old cat, Purina one kitten food when it states on the bag up to 1 year? I have a huge unopened bag and I’d hate to see it goto waste. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 10 lbs

This will have too many calories for Finn being an adult cat. I would donate the bag to your local SPCA, they always need food and would be so grateful for it. Then I would give him an adult food. Best of luck.
