Pet's info: Dog | Golden Retriever | Female | spayed | 1 year and 8 months old | 60 lbs
My 18-month-old golden retriever keeps scratching her shoulder blades. I recently put topical flea meds on her and she’s been chewing on a Japanese Pittosporum in the yard. I read they are non toxic to dogs but i wonder if she has an allergy.

Mina could have an environmental allergy causing this scratching. If it's been more than 48 hours since you gave her the flea meds, you can try giving her an oatmeal bath to see if that helps soothe her skin. If not, have her seen by a vet. Best of luck.
