Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! This is likely due to an allergic reaction. This is typically treated with anti-histamine medications and steroids. I recommend you have him evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. Best of luck!

    This looks like an allergic reaction. You can start by giving him some benadryl but sometimes these will turn into an infection and may need antibiotics and steroids. See link below for benadryl dosing. If he isn't improving or gets worse, I would have your vet take a look at him to see what other medicines he may need.
