My dog peed while lying down and didn't notice. What should I do?

My one year old dog fully urinated while laying down and did not seem to realize until afterwards once he stood up. Pet's info: Dog | Maltipoo | Male | neutered | 11 months and 18 days old | 15 lbs

It sounds like he may have some trouble holding into his bladder, and that could be caused by him drinking a lot of water, or he could have a medical issue such as a UTI or bladder stones.
