My kitten licked Tiger Balm from her paw. Should I be worried?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed

Hello so my elder cat stepped on my kitten’s foot. So she began limping. I pressed on her paw she wasn’t meowing or anything so it’s not broken. I had tiger balm at my house. I literally just touched it with my finger (very very little) and rubbed it on her paw. Then I let her go. She took a few licks before I realise it might be harmful so I picked her up and washed her paw and everything. Should I be worried? Attached are ingredients

You may see some stomach upset (vomiting or diarrhea). Tiger Balm is moderately toxic if ingested in large amounts. Typically, a short fast followed by a bland diet can resolve minor upset. See your veterinarian if any upset or limping persists.
