Is Panacur safe if spilled on me? Can I put it on my kitten's food?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Female | spayed | 6 lbs

I’m giving panacur to my kitten and having trouble. First, is it safe for me? (As it had spilled on my arms) Also, if I put it on her dry food to eat will it still be effective?

Hello, yes you can sprinkle the panacur (if powder) onto her food to eat. Even if you have a liquid formula you may still mix it with her food. If it touches your skin, you may rinse it off thoroughly. It does not get absorbed through your skin and should not cause any side effects to you. Hope this helps and best of luck.
