Vet says no to Royal Canin daily. Farmina or RC for my dog?

I can't decide between Royal canin and Farmina Dog foods. Farmina's ingredients sound superb compared to Royal Canin, but RC seems to have research, science and longevity behind their company compared to Farmina. What are your thoughts? What would you feed your dog? I was fine with RC until a certain Veterinarian said, he would not feed RC as a daily regimen, but only for specific needs. I'm so torn. Please help. Thank you! I'm for Royal Canin. You are right it has the research, science, and longevity behind it. Plus it has veterinary nutritionists on staff, which Farmina does not. I would feed the Royal Canin. Another great brand of dog food is Iams. That's what I feed my dogs, and they love it. I hope this helps!
