My dog has an itchy rash after a walk. Is it serious enough for a vet?

Hi, my boy has got a rash and I am not sure if it's just by picking something up while out on a walk or if it's a serious problem requiring a vet visit. Can you please assist? From what I can see, it's just itchy but not sore / burning. Pet's info: Dog | Dachshund (Miniature Smooth Haired) | Male | neutered | 13 lbs

I think that would be uncomfortable for Felix. It could be a contact allergy from his walk. If he is scratching it, it can become infected from continuous scratching. I would take him into the vet to have this treated. Best of luck.
