Dog's head jerking when relaxed: Is it allergies or a vet emergency?

Pet's info: Dog | Boxer | Female | spayed | 67 lbs

My dog started having little head spasms today her head starts jerking up over and over again. Before it will stop. All of this started after out walk today worried what might be wrong with her... is this allergies or dose she need to be taken into the vet it seems to only happen when she is relaxed and laying down

Poor Josie! That sounds as though it may be a neurological problem, as some types of seizures can look like that. Please have Josie seen by a veterinarian for evaluation, and take in a video of her behaviour if possible. Generalized weakness from systemic diseases (such as endocrine disorders or infection) or toxin ingestion could also be a cause. Please have Josie seen by a vet right away. I hope she feels better soon!
