How to take a sick bird to the vet if it won't let me handle it?

I know my bird is sick and needs avian expert attention, however, she does not like to be handled at all and I’m afraid if I obligate her out of the cage, she will get worse. What do you suggest? Pet's info: Bird | Parakeet | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 3 months old

If the cage is small enough, you may be able to transport Coconut in it by placing a towel or pillowcase over the top to make it dark and calmer for her when traveling. If you can't move the cage, catching her when the room is darker and she is calm, and then placing her in a travel cage that is covered and dark may help her relax and stay calm until you arrive at your vet.
