My 34lb dog ate an energy bar with caffeine. Will she be okay?

Pet's info: Dog | Beagle | Female | 34 lbs

My dog weighs 34 lbs. and she ingested 2 energy bars with 130mg caffeine total.

As I'm sure you are aware, caffeine is toxic to dogs. Symptoms can occur with the consumption of 9 mg/pound of caffeine. At Riley's weight, that would be 306mg of caffeine. She should be ok, but monitor her for the next 24 hours to be safe. Best of luck.

    A lethal dose of caffeine is considered to be around 70 mg per 1 lb body weight (150 mg / kg body weight), but severe symptom can occur with much less than that. if you are unsure of the dose ingested please contact the http://www.petpoisonhelpline.com
