i have a 6 week old blue heeler puppy who acts fine but starting yesterday he began to have diarrhea and last night after he pooped a drop of blood came with it. other than that he plays fine with other dogs and has lots of energy and an appetite

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Thrasher. I recommend that he sees a veterinarian. He will need fecal testing to look for an intestinal infection. Parasites and bacterial infections are common. Viral diseases tend to make puppies more sick than you have described. If an infection cannot be found, then a dietary change may be recommended.
