My dog has a cold, yellow snot, and trouble breathing. Is it serious?

My pet is seriously ill he's have kind of cold, his note is filled with a yellow and red substance. Due to which he not able to breathe properly.

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Blacky. Based on your picture and description, he could have a respiratory tract infection. This could be due to an upper respiratory tract infection such as a cold, but dogs can also develop pneumonia. This is an infection deep within the lungs. In the case, the dog typically has difficulty breathing or uses more effort to breathe. Most dogs will have a fever and will refuse to eat and drink. Either way, he will need to see a veterinarian for treatment. I hope this information helps!
