Why is my Corgi not affectionate? Does she love strangers more?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Pembroke Welsh Corgi | Female | spayed | 3 months and 15 days old | 25 lbs

I know I have asked this before but my corgi isn’t as affectionate anymore and I am very affectionate with her. She shows more love to strangers than she does me. Will she ever love me by chance? I worry about this everyday because I love Mia so much. :( She even gets the best care I can give her because she’s my baby. Maybe she just doesn’t like me. Sorry if I sound foolish, I don’t mean to it it’s just I value the relationship I have with her. :(

Love is patience sometimes and giving space to other being. Let Mia be Mia and love her for what she is, wether she shows affection or not. Relationships take time and building up. You will see that engaging with her in play and training activities as she grows will help the bond. Hope this helps !
