What is this long lump on my senior dog's neck? Should I worry?

Hi My dog is a chihuahua age 14, I recently discovered a long lump near his neck. It does not seem to bother him but I’m still concern. Can you please advice what it is and what action can I take? Thank you. Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Male | neutered | 13 years and 10 months old | 10 lbs

This could be a growth, but it could also be a tick. It's hard to say without seeing Micky in person. Have him seen by a vet in the morning to have this examined, diagnosed, and treated. Best of luck.
