I'm wondering if Syndey is spayed or not. If she isn't, she could be going into heat for the first time. Cats a very vocal (and annoying!) when in heat. If you don't want to deal with this behavior frequently (cats cycle quickly), I would have her spayed. Best of luck.

This is all perfectly normal behaviour of a happy cat that feels secure and loved. However , since your cat is not spayed, there is also a chance that she is in heat and therefore is looking for a mate. If you do not want kittens, I suggest you have her spayed, as she will keep cycling until she mates.

She is OK. This is normal behavior for a cat that is in heat. If she is a mixed breed and not a cat for breeding purposes she should be spayed. ( https://www.thesprucepets.com/signs-that-your-cat-is-in-heat-3385392 )
