My female cat is meowing constantly, acting strange. Is she in heat?

My cat has got into the habit of going into the kitchen and the dining room and away from me then staying there and meowing/crying, thishas happened for 3 days now. What is a matter with her? Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Female | 5 months and 21 days old | 2 lbs

I'm wondering if Syndey is spayed or not. If she isn't, she could be going into heat for the first time. Cats a very vocal (and annoying!) when in heat. If you don't want to deal with this behavior frequently (cats cycle quickly), I would have her spayed. Best of luck.
