My puppy has a bad eye infection. Can I use antibiotic cream?

My puppy has a bad eye infection. Will putting some antibiotic cream on them help

The only thing that’s safe to use is an antibiotic ointment prescribed by the vet. You will need to take Daisy into the vet immediately if she has a bad eye infection. Leaving this untreated can lead to vision loss.

    No this close to the eye, no. I would keep a close eye on Baxter's wound. Keep the wound clean and dry, and monitor it for signs of infection. If you see redness, swelling, warmth to the touch, or pus, then it is infected and he will need to see the vet for antibiotics to treat it. I hope this helps!
