My dog's ear is raw and bloody after surgery. What can I put on it?

I'm deeply grateful for your website. I have a new question. My dog had ear surgery 2 days ago. The vet told me to remove the bandage today. I did and put an Elizabethean collar because she was trying to scratch her ear. It is not bleeding but looks raw and bloody. The protector is a little smeared. The vet is closed today. Should I put something on the wound?

Poor Mitzy. Leave the wound alone, putting something on it may interrupt the healing process further. Keep the Ecollar on her to keep her from itching it, and have her seen by her vet tomorrow if it's still looking bloody and raw. Best of luck.
