Why is my dog's diarrhea black after eating dairy? Is erection normal?

hi my dog is having diarrhea really bad we were on a walk and pooped around six times at first it was brown than it was black he sometimes got an erection while doing it i dont know if thats normal and he has dairy in him so i was wondering if that was what caused it? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 2 years old | 45 lbs

If he had some dairy that may have caused the diarrhea. If he's otherwise acting normally and not vomiting, his appetite is normal and he is active and happy, feed him a bland diet of boiled chicken and white rice for a couple of days. If the diarrhea is not resolving , take him to your vet for an exam. AS for getting an erection while pooping, that sometimes happens when they are straining to poop, which can happen when they have diarrhea because there is an urgency involved.
