Why is my cat's eye dark, bulging, blind, and causing sickness?

my cats eye has gone very very dark, appears to be bulging, is watering lots, and she has now gone blind in that eye, it has been like this for almost a year but has been getting much worse. She is also being sick a lot, so i wanted to find out the possible cause of this and if she may be in any pain? Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 18 years old | 8 lbs

Hello. Yes, this is absolutely painful to your cat. Poor Willow needs veterinary attention now as there is probably a tumor growing behind the eye. Other than removing the eye ( enucleation ), there may not be very much more that can be done for her, but at the very least, I would have her on pain medications.
