Hi,my female cats are getting old and started to protect themselves from other cats and constantly hitting and scratching my male cat,who loves them much and now is feeling very depressed from their behavior,he also recently got scared from plush toy mouse and week after that he can't forget it,now he jumps and ran away from every object, how can I reduce these two stresses for him in a healthy way because he's very stressed now, he's very emotional sensitive and timid animal by nature, thank you

I'm so sorry you're having this problem, poor guy! It may be best to set up a separate room of the house for him, away from the two females if they are constantly picking on him. You can set this room up as a more controlled environment for him so there are less "surprises," etc. Here is a website with some wonderful information and resources that I think could really help you. https://www.catbehaviorassociates.com/category/whats-bugging-kitty/cat-fearful-behavior/ Best of luck, I hope he is feeling better soon!
