Why are my dog's eyes swollen and discharging after having puppies?

Hi my name is Jason and I am very concerned for my chihuahua/ terrier. She is right around 9 months old and while I was away for a period of time she got pregnant and has just 2 weeks ago given birth to 3 very healthy pups. Since birth she has gone through some very noticeable changes that I know something is wrong. She keeps rubbing and scratching her face to the point that her hair around her eyes are now able, as of today her eyes are very swollen and I'm pretty sure they are discharging. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | unspayed | 7 lbs

It’s possible that Boogie has conjunctivitis, an infection or an allergy that’s causing her signs. I don’t think it would be related to her recent pregnancy or puppies. I would recommend having your vet examine Boogie’s eyes to determine what is going on and to prescribe medications.
