Pet's info: Bird | Finch | Female | unspayed
Hi! My bird has layed eggs but their nest is not in good condition. I gave them enough fiber and even sticks but somehow they left a hole where two eggs have fallen, several remain and I'm desperate to move or correct their nest so that the eggs won't fall but I've heard that it could also cause the birds some stress and make them think the eggs are a goner. I don't know what to do.

Thanks for reaching out about Phoebe. Continue to offer new nest material but do not disturb the eggs, as this can lead to her rejecting the nest. You could try patching the hole from underneath to prevent further eggs from dropping. Otherwise you can pull the eggs and plan for artificial incubation. Good luck.
