My senior dog snores and breathes heavily. What tests to ask for?

Pet's info: Dog | Golden Retriever | Female | spayed | 9 years and 7 months old | 61.72 lbs

Hi Dr. What do you think I should tell the vet to make specific test for my dog concerning her nose and breath. I think she has a blocked nose or half blocked coz she snores alot while asleep and sometimes it's heavy breath (like flu in human) her mouth I think is also wet because I hear sticky sounds while she swallow saliva. I am asking you bcz I am very concerned she is 10yrs golden it's been more then a year on this case and the vet always says it's not dangerous but I have a bad feeling.

You can ask for a chest x-ray to see what Moka's heart and lungs look like, as well as a geriatric blood panel and urinalysis. These would be good tests to start with and further tests can be done as needed. I hope this helps!
