What are these new spots on my puppy's back feet? Should I see a vet?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | French Bulldog | Female | unspayed | 7 months and 29 days old | 18 lbs

These spots on both back feet have developed in the last week or so. Any idea what they are and what we need to do?

I would recommend having your veterinarian physically examine Bella, but it may be a histiocytoma. These are benign growths that are common in puppies. They grow and get big and then disappear. If they get too big or they are painful we recommend removal. Your veterinarian can take an aspirate to determine exactly what it is.
