My 85lb Golden Retriever ate 200mg ibuprofen. What should I do now?

My golden retriever who is 85lbs ate one 200 mg of ibuprofen. What should I do?

That one dose should not hurt her but you need to watch out for side effects. Dogs can take ibuprofen but it has a narrow safety margin and has high probability of causing side effects with repeated administration or overdose. The dose is 5-8mg/kg so at the high end of the dose she could have taken 300mg. So, again, that one dose I would not be worried but DO NOT let her get anymore and monitor for side effects.
