My dog takes Vitofyllin 50mg. Is her dosage correct for her weight?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 11 years and 10 months old | 30 lbs

My dog is prescribed vitofyllin 50mg and dose of 1.5 tablets twice daily. She weighs 13.8kg. Is that correct?

The usual dose rate is 3-5mg per kilogram bodyweight, given twice daily. So, her dose would be between 41.5 and 70mg. I don't think 75mg would be harmful. If you have a question about her dosing I suggest you ask the prescribing veterinarian. As a side note, Vitofyllin is not absorbed well from the stomach if food is present, so it is much better to give on an empty stomach (or with a tiny morsel of food) and then to feed 30 minutes later.
