My cat's eye is swollen, painful, and pupil is black. Is it serious?

Hello! please help me. My cat has has a right eye problem. After showing him to an ophthalmologist, the doctor said that it is iridochorioiditis and she prescribed the following eye drops: Maxitrol, Diclofenac, Solcorine - three times each a day. After the first day of using these medication, my cat's eye seemed better. But today the pupil of is eye turned completely black and he cannot open it due to pain. The eye is also swelling. I am very afraid. Please, help me.

I would recommend seeing a veterinarian right away. I would be concerned about something like glaucoma secondary to the inflammation in the eye. Glaucoma can cause vision loss if it is not treated promptly.
