Why is my golden retriever still panting an hour after playing?

My 10 month old golden retriever was panting heavily after playing, he is still panting a little and hasn’t been outside playing for over an hour now but is still panting and never used to do this. Pet's info: Dog | Golden Retriever | Male | unneutered | 10 months and 21 days old | 70 lbs

If Rhett otherwise is acting like himself then I wouldn't be too worried and you can monitor him tonight, but if you see any other signs that concern you, then it's worth a visit to your vet to have him checked.
