How can I help my cat produce more milk for her newborn kittens?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 1 year old | 9 lbs

What can I do to increase my cats milk? She's not making enough milk and I was wondering if I can feed her something or do something to help her make more milk for the kittens. Thanks for your help and please get back to be asap.

There is nothing specific you can give Bella to increase her milk supply. I would give her a kitten formulated food, as diet can sometimes help. You likely will need to supplement the kittens with KMR (kitten milk replacement). I would go get some now as well as bottles to feed the kittens. Best of luck.
