My dog chewed an old ant bait. Is he okay? What should I do?

My dog found an ant bait from last year and was chewing on it. Can you advise me what to do? I don’t think there was anything in there just remenants stuck to the plastic. Pet's info: Dog | Maltese | Male | neutered | 9 lbs

The good news is that ant baits are minimally toxic to dogs, and given how old it was and the fact that there may just be remnants, he should be ok. You don't need to do anything. I hope this helps!
