My chihuahua has stomach pain & yellow slime in poop. What to do?

My chihuahua has had stomach pain or what seems to be a stomach ache since she awoke this morning. She has pooped more than once during the day today which is a bit abnormal for being her routine & one of her feces had a yellowish slime to it. what could she have? I just noticed the symptoms today what should I do? Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Female | spayed | 6 years and 9 months old | 9 lbs

It could be Suzy has a bit of diarrhea, and I can give you a home remedy to see if that helps. Withhold food for 12-24 hours, then feed a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in her normal diet. If the diarrhea continues on the bland diet, she starts vomiting food, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, she will need to see a vet right away. Best of luck.
