Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Female | unspayed
My German Shephard dog is not able to chew food although she has a great urge to eat nor she's able to drink water the way she used to, her lower jaw seems to have some problem. What could be the reason? Contacted the local veterinary doctor he said there could be some swelling in dog's throat and then he prescribed some injections, now the course is over but still my dog is not able to move her jaw properly.

It could be a dislocated or fractured jaw. There could be a dental issue with one or more of the teeth. It could be a nerve disorder causing a problem with swallowing/chewing. I cannot give you any more information than that. Your vet will need to do some testing to figure out what is wrong. This is not something that can be diagnosed over the internet. Best wishes.
