My dog's 104 fever won't break after vet visit. What's wrong?

Pet's info: Dog | Pomeranian | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 3 months old | 10.5 lbs

Hi Need a clarify about my dog, he is suffered from fever with 104 degreess since 3 days I used to wet the cloth and wrap it on paws and ears but still the temperature is not let down I used to consult vet near me, but still the temperature is on, he is active and cool now Is there any reason why the temperature isnt cool down let me know need ur suggestion I thought he is dehydrated

Usually a virus is what causes a persistent high fever. I suggest you consult with the vet to get some medication to treat the fever like a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory. Often intravenous fluids are needed to correct dehydration as well.
