Why is my dog hacking and my family coughing indoors at the same time?

reasons to why my dog started hacking today? it’s weird me and my mom was coughing too at the same time today too. could it be the spring weather and the air quality in my house? he doesn’t do that in the basement. Absolutely. If everyone is coughing then an aerosolized irritant should be investigated first. Molds, chemicals, dust, etc, can cause upper airway irritation. I would recommend using Hepa filters to remove dust mites and perhaps get an inspection done if you suspect there may be a mold problem somewhere. I hope that you get the bottom of things so that everyone can get some relief! : ) If Bear is still coughing after a few days however, it is best to get him seen an treated by your vet.
