My senior dog has a cut on his face. Is scabbing normal or serious?

Hello, I own an about 16-year-old dog, he got a cut on his face yesterday, on his face/cheek area. I'm a bit worried, and not sure how severe it is considering it already looks like it's scabbing, and he seems in no pain and is acting normal.

From the pictures, it doesn't look too bad. Keep an eye on it for infection, and if you see redness, swelling, warmth to the touch, or pus, then it is infected and Pooh Bear (LOVE his name!) will have to see a vet. I hope this helps.
