My dog ate grass with pesticides. What signs mean an ER trip?

Hi! I took George to a lawn and later learned that pesticides were used on the lawn. George ate some grass and I fear that he may have ingested some grass tainted with pesticide. What signs should we look for that require a trip to emergency room? Should we give him more water or less for the next 24 hours? What is the danger zone? Thank you!

That's a good question. I recommend you contact the pet poison helpline and let them know the chemicals that were used so that they can let you know if George needs to be seen by a vet. If you are unsure what was used on the lawn, contact the company that applied it. If you notice vomiting, diarrhea, decreased appetite, or decreased energy, I recommend you have George seen by a vet right away, as those could be some symptoms of illness due to toxin ingestion. https://www.petpoisonhelpline.com/
