Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 1 month and 16 days old | 1lb
I have a kitten who I have raised from just hours old (she was found in a sales barn her siblings perished from hypothermia)she is 6 weeks old she ate all the time (had her on KMR and fed her canned kitten food) went to 2nd step just yesterday mixed with KMR and had her kitten food separated she ate everything several times yesterday. This morning at 6am I fed her the same exact thing she refused it. I just tried again she again refused her kitten food and her 2nd stage mix KMR. I am concerned!

Hello, and thanks for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. Kitten food is actually more nutritious than KMR - KMR is really for those tiny kittens who are so little they're not yet ready to try solids on their own. So, if your kitten is willing to eat canned kitten food well, I would work on weaning her off the KMR. However, if she's refusing to eat anything for more than 1 meal in a row, then I would take her right in to your vet. Little kittens like Baby can get dehydrated and sick very quickly, so prompt medical care is important if she's not feeling well. Hope this helps!
