My dog is in heat. How do I know when she's ready for breeding?

Naughty is 5years old English crooked spaniel female. He menstrual cycle was excepted on 1 March but I have observed big n several blood drops . I think she is in her menstrual cycle. How do I know when she is ready for metting with male crooker. How to know which is her day today that is on 9th April. Kindly guide me. Pet's info: Dog | English Cocker Spaniel | Female | spayed | 5 years and 4 months old

This is difficult to say but, on average, most dogs ovulate and are receptive around day 11 of the heat cycle. The discharge from the vulva is usually less bloody and the female will be actively looking for a male.
