Why is my dog shaking with diarrhea and house accidents for days?

My dog has had diarrhea for the past few days, he has been going multiple times a day, going in the house which isnt normal. This morning he was shaking by me in bed I let him out and he was ok. Only thing I could think is maybe he got some old beggin strips out of his kong? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 50 lbs

Pets can get diarrhea for many different reasons and this can range from eating something they shouldn’t have, to parasites, to bacterial overgrowth as well as many other more sinister causes. When diarrhea continues beyond two days, the pet should see the veterinarian. Most of these pets will have changes in the bacteria flora regardless of the initial cause and will require medications and a bland diet to get better.
