My dog ate a mouse. Will the swallowed bones cause him problems?

Pet's info: Dog | Akita | Male | neutered | 3 years and 4 months old | 70 lbs

my was digging in the yard, pulled a mouse out and ate it. tried to get his mouth open but no luck. what about the bones he swallowed. the mouse look healthy. Jack is Akita and shepherd mixed.

It is unlikely that the mouse bones will cause any problems because they are solid bones and very small. Eating anything unusual however can result in an upset stomach so watch him closely for the next 24 hours for any vomiting, diarrhea or not eating well. You may not see any ill effects however but you never know. Best of luck and please feel free to post any additional questions.
